WoolPro shearing courses are subject to the following requirements:
Senior (sen) - shearing approximately 250 or more per day
Intermediate (Int) - shearing approximately 150 - 200 per day
Junior (Jun) - shearing approximately 50 - 150 per day
Please Note:
All June and July courses will be using "winter combs". Spline drives are compulsory.
The Advanced Junior courses are not for raw novices. These trainees should receive their initial instruction from their local Provincial Shearing Instructor (courses arranged by Federated Farmers or local contacts in each district) or should be capable of shearing 50 - 100 sheep per day.
