A specialised course designed to provide individualised coaching to suit the course participant's particular style.

 

Aimed at shearers who have completed their National Certificate Machine Shearing level two qualification and who own their own gear, this course will have you shearing to a commercial level and to the correct pattern, while also being able to repair and replace parts on your gear.

 

You will spend four days in a working wool shed with our friendly and experienced tutors learning about handpiece maintenance, fitness and health, diet, woolshed safety, and gear preparation.

 

You will also get some hands-on experience shearing, handling wool, pressing and penning up sheep.

 

At the end of the course, and after finishing some on-the-job practical tasks you will have all you need to pass the National Certificate in Shearing level three and move on to level four.
